My relatives brought these from Long Beach to San Diego. They were the most delicious thing on the planet. The little combination pieces inside the bow bun was amazing. I need more of these buns in me. I can't get enough of them thank you.

They're well known for their steamed buns yet my go to orders here are the steamed peanuts, palm sugar cake and the grilled pork bánh mì. Reasonable price and delicious snacks treats. It's a dangerous place so dont come here on an empty stomach. The service has always been quick and friendly. The store front looks clean and crowded with all the snacks and treats

I was in town at the Disneyland resort for the weekend and was looking up 'Best Asian breakfast' and Yummy Bakery popped up. Instantly, i knew this place would satisfy my craving. The drive took about 20 minutes from my hotel. It was easy to find and there were plenty of parking. I was pretty excited to be here because there isn't really a place like this, with such a big variety or with a good price point in Vegas. Ordered a couple of sandwiches, a few steamed bbq pork bun, the black custard buns, a few combination baos with salted egg, eggrolls, a iced coffee and an iced matcha coffee. It was all for takeout as this place didn't have restaurant dining available. Everything my children and I had was absolutely DELICIOUS! Word of caution, the runny egg custard bun should Not be eating in a car! That stuff spilled all over my 19 year old daughters, face and clothes. LOL It was hilarious because i told her to wait until we get somewhere to eat but she wouldn't wait. haha She said it was worth it, so there it is. The black custard bun is definiytely a winner. I am looking forward to coming back to this Yummy Bakery next time I drive out. Thank you for such a nice experience!

Discovered Yummy Bakery on accident as we were having lunch in the same plaza. We later realized this is the same bakery (perhaps different location) that one of our relatives frequently visits and brings bao's from. Initially planning to just order a few different bao's for a post-lunch treat but then we thought, what the heck, let's just get a couple boxes! Box of Sweet Taro Buns ($13), Box of Egg Yolk Custard ($15.50), and Pandan Rice Cake with Coconut Drizzle ($8). The images within the menu showed the entire taro bun as purple but it came white with a purple dot which was a bit confusing but nonetheless, it was GOOD. The taro paste was very purple in color, thick, and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I was also a huge fan of the egg yolk custard - the gooey slightly salty, slightly sweet mixture that all come together when taking a bite into the bao - 10/10 would recommend. The thing I wouldn't recommend? Pancake rice cake was meh - not as soft as it had looked and the pandan flavors were not strong enough. Definitely a place to go for sweet bao's. Will have to try the savory next time.

A friend of mine bought me a box of their #1 Bao, Thap Cam Trung Ga. I came here to check it out myself because my husband likes them. This is my second time here. Their sweet crispy baguette, which I think they make with day old bread is fresh and has just the right sweetness. Not sure what the name of this is in Vietnamese, but you'll find it on the counter. Tried one of the black/gold Custard Bao's this trip. It's called Bao Hac Kim Sa. It would have been better warm, so not a fair judge of this cold. It's beautiful though and has an elegant gold marking on it. (you'll find a photo in the Yelp photos here) The lady who helped me today gave me a few samples of the crispy bread to go. I think she thought I had never tried it before, but I have... many times. That was a very nice gesture tho, as I'm not Vietnamese, so she assumed.

Yummy has been my new go to banh bao and other snacks since they have all kinds of snacks, drinks and food. They recently added banh mi to their menu and I've tried the crispy pork banh mi but it wasn't as good as it was bland. What they have best here is the palm sugar steamed rice cake with the coconut dipping sauce, it's omg good! I always called ahead to make sure they didn't run out for the day or try another yummy location. I also get their sweet dessert drinks too they're pretty good. The bao fillings have too much pork fat lately so I'm not getting them as much as I used to, not sure why but flavor is still on point.

It's good!! The price is far for it size, for nowadays. I'm still used to a bigger size of the bun from a different store. But taste wise is really good, moist and fresh! The place is very clean, the lady who helped me is very nice. They also have drinks and desserts, which I'm gonna go back and try the drinks... Go there and try it!!! Good stuff
